What works are taking place?
We will be carrying out kerbing & carriageway resurfacing works A265 Broad Oak & A265 Burwash Weald.

 

Schedule
13-24 January 2020: Kerbing on A265 Broad Oak.

Daytime working with manually controlled temporary traffic lights in place.

3-11 February 2020: Resurfacing on A265 Burwash Weald.

Road closed from 150 metres east of Willingford Lane to Coppers Hill between 8pm & 6am each night.

26 Feb-20 March 2020: Resurfacing on A265 Broad Oak.

Road closed from Battle Road to Halley Road between 8pm & 6am each night

 

Diversion
Traffic will be diverted via A265, B2096 Battle Road, A271 North Trade Road, A2100 London Road, A21 Johns Cross Roundabout, Robertsbridge Bypass, A21 London Road, A265 Station Road & vice versa.

Information for local people


Vehicle access: The road will be closed to through traffic. This is for your safety and the safety of our workers. If you do need vehicle access then please discuss this with the team on site. We will try to give access where we can but there may be long delays whilst we make the area safe. We will always allow access for emergency vehicles. Pedestrian access will be maintained.

 

Weather: If it rains, we might be delayed in our works. We will keep you updated with any changes via advance warning signs.

 

Parking: Please park your vehicle off road or in another location, otherwise your vehicle may be towed away. There will be ‘no parking’ signs and cones on site to advise where parking is restricted.

Buses: We apologise if our works cause disruption to your bus service. Please check with the bus company for any alterations to the service during this time.
