Young at Heart Heathfield Community Club

OUR AIM

Our aim is that Young at Heart becomes a core part of the lives of older residents in Heathfield and the surrounding area. Young at Heart is a social club providing a day outside the home for older people, a healthy lunch, activities including walks, time with other like-minded adults and, most importantly, the company of younger people.

INTER GENERATIONAL

Young at Heart aims to provide a warm friendly environment. A significant part of this is the programme of activities shared with a local primary school that bring younger and older people together. All Saints’ and St Richard’s Church of England Primary School 6 to 11 year-olds will spend time with the group on a weekly basis.

ACTIVE & HEALTHY

Young at Heart is a non-residential facility that supports the nutritional, social, and activity needs of older adults in a professionally staffed, group setting. We also support older people to re-visit skills and hobbies they may not have engaged with recently, and to try new activities.
