University of the Third Age (U3A).

We are part of the Third Age Trust movement which now comprises 927 local U3As with a membership of over 322,000 members. The U3A is a self-help organisation for older people, no longer in full time employment, providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment.

Monthly meetings are being held in the Main Hall of the Community Centre, Sheepsetting Lane, Heathfield, on the third Tuesday of every month from 2.30pm to 5.00pm.

We have the following groups set up so far : book group, science, cooking on a budget, painting and drawing, photography, drama, exploring London on foot and excursions. Gardening and walking are in the process of being set up.
