Life Story Work - I design and produce a unique Life Story Book for individuals. Life Story work can be used to help develop a better understanding of someone needs and wishes so that care can be provided in a person-centered way. It provides a valuable insight into the life of someone especially when they have difficulty in sharing this information themselves. It helps to encourage better communication and relationships between the person, family, friends, carers and staff who are providing care. A person’s unique life story will also influence their needs now, it is also beneficial to understand a person’s history as it can help to support them now and helps in keeping a persons sense of identity intact.Coverage15 mile radius of Heathfield.
