After a quiet time during the winter the Association have started the new year (the thirteenth since the inauguration) with the usual enthusiasm. A visit to Forges-les-Eaux took place in early July and a group from Forges will be visiting here in September and will be visiting Scotney Castle. It is hoped that some stallholders from Forges will attend Le Marche in August.
In August the croquet team from Catenay (near Forges) will be visiting for the annual match with Waldron Village Croquet Club. It is hoped that Cross-in-Hand Tennis Club will be going to Forges in the autumn.
The Soirees Francaises continues every few months and this is an opportunity to speak French in a convival atmosphere with wine and refreshments to help things along. All levels of ability are welcome and there is usually a native French speaker to help.
