The PiP (Public Information Point)

On February 19th the first PiP (Public Information Point) kiosk was installed in the CO-OP store and since then PIP's have been installed in:-

  • Wessons cafe - Horam
  • Dawes Stores - Rushlake Green.
  • The Half Moon public house in Cade Street
  • Heathfield Youth Centre
  • This is an exciting scheme, as yet unique to Heathfield and the surrounding villages. These PiPs are available for members of the public to access the Internet, local government/services and Heathfield local information (including the heathfield.net website), free of charge. They will also start to be used as tourist information points throughout the community. There is also the facility to pay to top up mobile phones and produce digital printing and send e-mail.
