Army Cadet - Volunteers Sought

Saturday 2nd September 2017 7:25am

The Army Cadet Force, based at Heathfield Youth Centre, is a voluntary youth organisation working with 12-18 year-olds, all of the instructors are volunteers and can be any age between 18 and 55. Volunteers don't need any military experience at all as we can provide the training.

We offer the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme, BTEC's and NVQ's to both cadets and instructors as well as the chance of trips to Canada, Singapore and Cyprus.

Most of the cadet detachments run two nights a week between 19.00 and 21.30, we also do training weekends and a two week annual camp in the school summer holidays. We do give a volunteer allowance for instructors who come away on weekends and the two week camp.
