Heathfield Youth Centre
The Youth Centre welcomes all young people between the ages of 11 and 19, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexuality and ability. The Youth Centre offers a variety of clubs and projects as follows
Tuesday 7.00 - 9.00 pm Duke of Edinburgh - This is an accredited award scheme for young people aged 14 - 25.
Wednesday 4.00 - 5.30 pm media project for young people interested in film production.
Wednesday 3.00 - 5.00 pm - Information drop for young people requiring advice on issues concerning them.
Thursday 6.30 - 8.30 pm Juniors - This is a club is aimed at young people in years 7 & 8, it offers varied activities i.e. sports, arts & crafts, cooking, snooker, pool, IT.
Friday 5.00 - 6.30 pm Youth Council for young people interested in making a difference in their home town. The Youth Council is involved in many events for instance local projects, producing a newsletter and promoting young people's issues.
Friday 6.45 - 9.15 pm Friday Night Project - This project offers interesting and varied activities including arts & crafts, cooking, sports, snooker and pool, as well as periodical workshops such as drama workshops with 'Act on It' and digital music workshops.
