Mixed band of all ages from 10 to 80. A charity run organisation. Tuition is free and instruments are loaned free of charge. Practice night is on a Tuesday from 7.30pm and Training Band at 6.30 pm in the Bandroom, Alexandra Road, Heathfield. We are always looking for new players in all sections.

OUR HISTORY
The Band was formed in 1888 as a fife-and-drum band and later brass instruments were added. Originally only men were allowed in the band and they used to practice without light or heating in the drill hall by what is now the Half Moon Pub in Cade Street. At the time of World War One the band was attached to the 2nd Sussex Volunteers and performed at military parades. Today we enjoy supporting events in and around the Heathfield area.
