East Sussex County Council who are Founding Partners and County Officers work with us on the High Street, Transport, ICT and Sport & Leisure Committees. Wealden District Council are also Founding Partners. In our early stages moving from a steering Group set up by the Parish Council into the Partnership they were undoubtedly the driving force. In those days they also provided Officers for work on all of our early bids. Officers have played their part on the following committees, Farmers Market, NCR21, Sport & Leisure, Inward Investment and High Street. Cllr Niki Oakes is the formal District Council representative on the Partnership Executive. She is also involved in the Police LATS, High Street and Sport & Leisure Committees. Heathfield & Waldron Parish Council not only a Founding Partner but our strongest Partner today. Every Executive Committee has at least one elected Parish Representative on the Committee. The Parish Council are responsible for the highest proportion of our base budget annual budget grant and we provide a monitoring report on all of our activities to their Finance and General Purposes Committee every time they meet. Cllrs Peter Newnham and Angie Muddle are the formal representatives on the Executive Committee. The Clerk to the Parish Council, Mrs Diana Francis, sits on the High Street Committee. Cllr Newnham sits on the High Street, Inward Investment, Police LAT and Sport & Leisure Committee. Cllr Angie Muddle sits on the Farmers Market & ICT Committees. Cllrs John Kerby, Ray Bassingthwaighte and Mike Woodhouse sit on the Transport Committee. Cllr Pat Clark not only sits on but Chairs the Police LAT Committee.
